Zurgena is a municipality of Almeria province, in the autonomous community of Andalucia, Spain and is only 20 minutes from the popular beachfronts of Mojacar, Vera and Garrucha

Over the last few years a larger urbanisation program has been underway and as a result the population has grown significantly in this area. This has resulted in an increased clientelle for the bar as well as other new and existing businesses in the area.

Zurgena is a traditional spanish town set in the Almanzora valley which is full of orange and lemon groves with a landscape dominated by mountains. All amenities are within easy walking distance, including schools, doctors, banks etc. It is situated between the large town of Albox, which is ten minutes drive away and Huercal Overa, where there are a vast array of shops, restaurants, bars and other businesses for your pleasure. There is also a weekly market in the village giving you the opportunity to buy locally produced fruit and vegetables, and other artifacts. It has easy access to the E15 / A7 motorway and to the main hospital in Huercal Overa.
